Initially, Bosch was not picked by any team in the IPL 2025 auction, but due to Lasith Williams’ injury, Mumbai Indians have signed him as a replacement. This decision has put Bosch in a difficult situation, as he is now committed to both IPL and PSL, which are set to take place during the same time frame.
Since playing in both leagues is impossible, he will have to choose one and disappoint the other, which could result in legal action from the affected board. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already issued a legal notice to Carbin Bosch for breaching his contract with Peshawar Zalmi, and there is speculation that he might be banned from future PSL seasons.
It is important to note that Peshawar Zalmi picked Bosch in the Diamond category, but now he has chosen to join Mumbai Indians, likely due to a higher financial offer. His decision has led to serious legal consequences, and the PCB may take strict action against him in the coming days.
