Kane Williamson Registers for HBL PSL 10 Draft

Exciting news for cricket fans! The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) has unveiled the complete roster of overseas players registered in the Platinum category for the much anticipated Player Draft, set to take place on 13 January. The list boasts 44 star-studded players from eight cricketing nations, promising a thrilling battle for franchises to secure the best talents.

One of the biggest headlines? New Zealand’s batting maestro Kane Williamson has thrown his hat into the ring, joining the Platinum category. Williamson, who stands as the second-highest run-scorer for New Zealand in T20Is, brings with him a wealth of experience and class. Adding more firepower from the Kiwis is his long-time teammate, Tim Southee, New Zealand’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is.

But that’s not all! Other Kiwi stars registered in the Platinum category include Adam Milne, Daryl Mitchell, Finn Allen, Jimmy Neesham, Mark Chapman, and Michael Bracewell. With such a stellar lineup, it’s safe to say PSL teams will be keenly eyeing the New Zealand contingent during Monday’s draft.

Interestingly, New Zealand isn’t the only nation making a strong statement in the Platinum pool. Australia leads the chart with 13 players, making them the most represented overseas group. Notable names include ICC T20 World Cup 2021 winners Ashton Agar, David Warner, and Daniel Sams. PSL fans will also remember Usman Khawaja, who was impressed while representing Islamabad United in 2021, He is also back in the Platinum category.
