No Response From Mohsin Naqvi After Ali Tareen Letter
After tearing up the PCB’s letter, Ali Tareen sent a letter to Mohsin Naqvi in which he presented four points aimed at improving the PSL and strengthening his relationship with the PCB. However, surprisingly, there has still been no response from either Mohsin Naqvi or the PCB. Instead, reports suggest that the PCB is secretly looking for a new owner for the Multan Sultans franchise and plans to hand over the franchise to a third owner soon.
It seems the PCB either doesn’t understand or is deliberately ignoring the fact that no one will be willing to pay even half of what Ali Tareen has already paid and continues to pay for the Multan Sultans. The Multan Sultans franchise itself is an excellent team, but if we look at the overall structure of the PSL, it’s clear that the league isn’t generating enough revenue to justify such a high payment for any franchise.
Therefore, if the PCB decides to sell Multan Sultans to another owner, that person will most likely offer a much lower price than Ali Tareen, ultimately resulting in financial loss for the PCB. Hence, it is the PCB’s responsibility to listen to Ali Tareen and give importance to his concerns because he is the one financially stabilizing the PSL the most.
So far, Mohsin Naqvi has not responded to this matter, but it is hoped that today or tomorrow he will reply to Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen. Fans are optimistic that his response will be in favor of both Multan Sultans and the PSL itself.
