PSL 10 Captains – List of All Team Captains
The 10th season of PSL is set to begin on April 11, and the complete squads and captains of all teams have been officially announced. In PSL 10, we will see some new captains, along with a few players who will be playing in the Pakistan Super League for the very first time and that too as captains.
So let’s take a look at which players have been selected as captains by each PSL franchise. Some names will truly excite you, and you’re already familiar with their performances these are dangerous batsmen indeed.

PSL 10 Captains
In the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League, no new team has been added. The same six teams are part of this season as well, and their captains have already been announced. Let’s take a look at which player each team has introduced as their captain this year.

Islamabad United Captain
This year, Shadab Khan has been chosen as the captain by Islamabad United and rightfully so. His performance has been outstanding. If we look at the previous season, Shadab Khan scored a total of 305 runs as an all-rounder and also took 14 wickets, all with an impressive strike rate of 142.52 and an economy rate of 8.5.
He is not only a top class spin bowler and a strong batsman, but also the best fielder in Islamabad United, often considered the best fielder in the entire PSL. With Shadab Khan in the squad, Islamabad United will surely gain a lot of confidence and aim to perform strongly in all aspects of the game.
Peshawar Zalmi Captain
This year as well, Babar Azam will represent Peshawar Zalmi as captain. Last year, Babar captained Peshawar Zalmi, but this year he initially wanted to play solely as a player. However, due to the trust and pressure from Peshawar Zalmi’s owner, Javed Afridi, Babar Azam has once again been appointed as the team’s captain.
Babar Azam is one of Pakistan’s top-class and leading batsmen, continuously setting new records. He is also the highest run-scorer in PSL history a record that doesn’t seem likely to be broken anytime soon. With his presence, Peshawar Zalmi becomes a very strong team.
Multan Sultans Captain
Multan Sultans are among everyone’s favorites because of their consistent performances that often take them to the finals, and sometimes even lead them to win the title. This year as well, Mohammad Rizwan will be the captain of Multan Sultans.
He is also the captain of Pakistan’s national team. Since Mohammad Rizwan took over the captaincy of Multan Sultans, the team has always reached the finals and has also won the PSL title. Therefore, he is a smart and capable captain who knows how to win the PSL Title, and this year again he will aim to claim the PSL 10 title for his team.
Karachi Kings Captain
This year, the Karachi Kings team is looking quite different. The Karachi Kings management has removed Shan Masood and appointed David Warner as the new captain. Alongside Warner, Kane Williamson will also be part of the team a very dangerous batsman who has also captained teams in the past.
David Warner and Kane Williamson will represent Karachi Kings in their first PSL match, and Warner has officially been named the captain. Known for being an aggressive opening batsman and a fearless leader, Warner has previously captained teams in the IPL as well. That’s why he is considered the best option for Karachi Kings this season.

Lahore Qalandars Captain
Lahore Qalandars have once again appointed Shaheen Shah Afridi as their captain this year and rightfully so. Shaheen has proven to be an excellent captain for the team in the past, having led Lahore Qalandars to two titles.
Although the team’s performance last season wasn’t particularly impressive, this year Lahore Qalandars appear to be in a much more attacking mode. Shaheen Shah Afridi will be making a strong effort to claim the title this season as well. No matter which team they face, Lahore Qalandars have the strength to give every opponent tough competition.
Quetta Gladiators Captain
This year as well, Saud Shakeel has been chosen as the captain by Quetta Gladiators.Saud Shakeel is proving to be a good captain for Quetta Gladiators after Sarfaraz, and the team’s performance has been gradually improving. The squad also looks quite strong, and Saud Shakeel knows how to lead his team effectively. He will make every effort to claim the title this season.
