Among the Bangladeshi players, Nahid Rana, Litton Das, and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain were selected by Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, and Lahore Qalandars. When these players were picked, the Pakistan franchises were aware that obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for them might be challenging due to Bangladesh’s upcoming two-match Test series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to take place from April 20 to May 2. This could have created difficulties in securing their participation in the PSL.
