Ali Tareen Wants Multan Sultans Back

Ali Tareen has withdrawn from the bidding process for the two new PSL franchises, saying he will only re-enter the league to regain the Multan Sultans. Tareen stated that Multan represents South Punjab and that his connection with the franchise was based on regional identity rather than ownership alone.

He confirmed that he will wait until the Multan Sultans is auctioned again next year. For PSL 11, the PCB will operate the franchise and later sell it after the tournament. Tareen indicated he will participate in the PSL this season as a spectator and prepare to bid for Multan when it returns to auction.
