Ali Tareen’s Return to Multan Sultans

Ali Tareen’s Return to Multan Sultans?

There is strong news for Multan Sultans fans as reports suggest the situation between Ali Tareen and PSL management may not be completely closed. Earlier, disagreements over valuation and financial matters led Ali Tareen to step aside, leaving Multan Sultans without an owner and expected to enter the January auction with the two new franchises.

Now inside sources say influential figures from both sides have stepped in to calm the situation and search for a middle solution. These individuals are trying to bring PSL management and Ali Tareen back to the table so that Tareen may regain Multan Sultans’ ownership. The final outcome is not confirmed yet, but talks are underway.

Many believe Ali Tareen should return because of the work he has done for Multan Sultans and South Punjab cricket. Under his management, the franchise built a strong brand, reached finals, won a title and helped produce players like Ihsanullah and Mohammad Ali. He also invested in development structures and high performance facilities, similar to the work done by Lahore Qalandars.

Supporters argue PSL should have found a middle path earlier, as Multan Sultans is an important cricket asset, not something to lose over valuation disputes. With PSL growing globally and targeting top overseas players, stability of franchises is seen as crucial.

If negotiations succeed and Ali Tareen returns, fans believe it will be beneficial for the league, the franchise and cricket in South Punjab.
