PSL New Teams Auction 2026 – Watch Live Auction Bidding
The PCB has announced the auction date and time for the two new franchises that will join the PSL. The PSL auction will be held today at 4:00 PM at the Islamabad Convention Center. Ten bidders have qualified for the Team Auction.

PSL Two New Teams Auction 2026
PSL 11 is now going to start, and the drafting dates have also been announced. Before that, we will find out which two new franchises are going to be added to the PSL. PSL Franchise Auction Date and Time
The PCB has announced the PSL new franchise auction date and time. The auction will be held Today on 8 January 2026, at 4:00 PM.
What is the PSL New Franchise Starting Bid?
PCB had been planning for a long time to make two new teams part of the PSL. Now, after 10 years of PSL being completed and after the PSL valuation was done, it became clear what the minimum price of a PSL franchise should be. Therefore, PCB has announced the starting bid for the two new franchises that are going to become part of the PSL.
The starting bid for the new PSL franchises will begin from four million dollars, and the bid can go as high as possible depending on how much interest people have in buying a new PSL team.
Remember that at this time, Multan Sultans are the most expensive team in the PSL with around $14 Million. Now it will be seen how many million dollars these two new franchises will become part of the PSL and which two lucky cities they will belong to.
Biding Criteria
Any company or individual can take part in the PSL bidding, but for that, you must register yourself before 15 December to become part of the auction. Only those people will be able to participate in the PSL auction who have already registered for the auction. If you want to purchase a PSL franchise, then register before 15 December at 11 am so that you can acquire a new PSL franchise through bidding.
Top Bidder Advantage
As soon as PCB starts the bidding for the new PSL franchises, every person who wants to purchase a PSL franchise will start bidding. In the bidding, only the top two bidders will be able to acquire the new PSL franchises.
The top bidder will have the option to choose any one city from these six cities and make that team their own. The second bidder will choose one team from the remaining cities.
Some people are also thinking whether the top bidder will have the option to select any other city of their choice. The answer is no. The six cities announced publicly by PCB are the only ones from which the top bidder can pick one city and name the team. That name will be shared with you here.
PSL 2026 Auction Qualified Bidders
For the new PSL franchise, the PCB has qualified 10 bidders who will take part in the PSL auction. Out of these 10 bidders, the two top bidders will be eligible to acquire teams. Inverex Energy
Inverex Energy has qualified to bid for the new PSL franchise. Inverex Energy has been a major sponsor of the PSL and now wants to own a new PSL franchise. Inverex, which has been working with the PCB since 2012 and has now also become a PSL sponsor, is eager to acquire its first PSL team.
Now it remains to be seen whether Inverex will be able to purchase a team in the 8 January auction or not.
OZ Group of Companies
The second qualified bidder that has come forward is Pakistan’s OZ Group of Companies, owned by Hamza Majeed, who is an overseas Pakistani and has returned to Pakistan. Due to his passion for cricket, he now wants to own a new PSL franchise.
As soon as he heard that the PCB was adding two new franchises to the PSL, he became part of the process and has now qualified for bidding. We hope that if OZ Group of Companies acquires a PSL franchise, they will manage it well and make it highly successful.
VGO Tel
VGO Tel, which is a smartphone manufacturing company, has entered the race to acquire a new PSL franchise. The PCB has now qualified the company for bidding for a new PSL franchise, and we will see them participating in the bidding on 8 January. This is an excellent start for the PSL, as major global companies have entered the race to acquire PSL franchises.
Jazz Cash
JazzCash has qualified for the auction to purchase a new PSL franchise and has now been confirmed by the PCB as the fourth qualified bidder. JazzCash has consistently been seen as a sponsor of the PSL, and it would be even better if JazzCash acquired its own franchise in the PSL.
This would give the company significant reach, while owning a franchise would also benefit the PSL. With a strong franchise involved, PSL fans would get to enjoy high-quality and competitive matches.
DSM Builders
The bidder that all PSL fans were waiting for has now qualified for PSL bidding. Yes, DSM Builders has qualified as a bidder for the PSL team auction for 2026. This company is owned by Ali Tareen’s family. As the news was circulating that Ali Tareen’s company would bid for a new franchise, the PCB has now officially revealed the company’s name.
DSM Plus will now participate in the bidding to acquire a new PSL franchise, and it is expected that they may successfully secure a new franchise, as they previously had a good experience in the PSL with Multan Sultans. Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see them and their franchise. It is being said that Ali Khan Tareen will now acquire a new franchise, which will be based in Faisalabad, and the team name will be Pindi Boys.
I2c
I2c, which is Pakistan’s most profitable tech company, has now entered the race to purchase a new PSL team and has been included in the list of qualified bidders by the PCB.
Prism Estate & Builders
Prizma Estate and Builders, which is a construction company, has now qualified to bid for a new PSL franchise. Masood-ul-Hassan Alvi, who is the CEO of the Prizma Group, stated that he is very eager to acquire a PSL franchise and hopes to become the owner of a new franchise, through which good talent can emerge for Pakistan.
He said that for several past PSL seasons, they have been advertising through a company named Exchange Inn, which increased their interest in PSL franchises. He desires that in the future, his franchise will produce good talent for Pakistan.
