Multan Sultans is Back – MS Officially Return to PSL After Franchise Takeover
All cricket fans from Multan have received great news, as Multan Sultans have officially returned to the PSL. In recent days, reports were circulating that the Auzir Group was searching for a new partner, and that news has now proven true.
Today, a conference was held with PSL CEO Salman Naseer, where it was confirmed that CD Ventures of the Auzir Group has taken over the franchise. As a result, the team previously operating under the Sialkot name has now been renamed Multan Sultans.
Earlier, during the bidding process, the franchise had been purchased for 1.85 billion PKR. However, with the rebranding to Multan Sultans, it has been officially confirmed that the franchise value has been increased from 1.85 billion PKR to 2 billion PKR per year. From this season onward, fans will once again see Multan Sultans competing in the league.
