There is a strong possibility that Salman Ali Agha, who is currently leading the national side, could be named captain of Multan Sultans. At the same time, his chances of playing for Islamabad United appear to be low.
Mike Hesson, who is serving as the national team head coach, is considered the leading option to handle the coaching responsibilities of Multan Sultans.

The final decision regarding the franchise’s management will be taken by Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB is currently operating Multan Sultans directly.
The PCB is also in contact with former cricketers as part of efforts to finalize a stable management setup following recent changes within the franchise.
