According to the PCB chairman, the extension was granted due to strong and growing interest in the Pakistan Super League from international investors. He said potential buyers from the Middle East, Europe and the United States have shown serious interest in purchasing PSL teams.
The move is seen as part of PCB’s efforts to attract global investors as the league prepares for expansion. With new franchises set to be added, PCB aims to ensure a competitive bidding process and strengthen PSL’s position as an international cricket league.
