A high-level meeting was recently held in Lahore, attended by PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer and representatives from the private company that conducted the valuation. During the session, the firm officially presented its detailed report to PCB officials.

Sources further revealed that the revised financial contract will be shared in draft form with all franchises within a week. Should any franchise choose not to accept the new terms, it will have the option to participate in an open bidding process.

The proposed shift to local currency and league expansion reflects the PCB’s efforts to strengthen the PSL’s economic sustainability while broadening its competitive base across Pakistan.
