According to available information, PSL 2026 matches will be hosted in five cities.
- Karachi
- Lahore
- Rawalpindi
- Multan
- Faisalabad
Due to the 39 day window, the league will not follow a double league format. In the first phase, each team will play once against every other team, resulting in 28 matches. After that, the top four teams will qualify for the Super Four stage, where 12 matches will be played.
The tournament will then move to the playoffs, which will include four matches, including the final. Despite the increase to eight teams, each team will still get the opportunity to play at least 10 matches, similar to previous seasons with six teams.
Overall, PSL 2026 will be played in two stages on a single league basis, followed by the Super Four and playoffs, bringing the total number of matches to 44.
