The amount equals approximately 18 billion Pakistani rupees, marking one of the biggest commercial deals in PSL history. This represents a 149 percent increase compared to the previous cycle, where the rise was around 50 percent.
The bidding process is still ongoing, and additional parties may enter the race. However, Walee Group currently holds the top offer at 64 million dollars.
Last season, the PSL recorded around 171 million viewers, significantly strengthening its commercial appeal. With franchise fees already running into billions of rupees, the new broadcasting deal further reflects the league’s growing brand value and financial scale.
The focus now shifts to how this increased revenue will be utilized for league operations, infrastructure, and player development in Pakistan cricket.
