PSL Opens Registration for the Foreign Players
Registration for foreign players for HBL PSL 11 has officially begun. The Pakistan Cricket Board has set 20 January 2026 as the final date for overseas players to complete their registration.
According to sources, strong interest is being shown by foreign cricketers, with many players keen to feature in the league after the successful completion of ten PSL seasons. PSL is now regarded as one of the leading franchise leagues in world cricket, which has increased its global appeal.
The auction for the two new PSL teams will be held on 8 January in Islamabad, where the seventh and eighth franchises will be confirmed. PCB has stated that a detailed roadmap for the league will be shared after the auction.
HBL PSL 11 is scheduled to begin on 26 March and will run until 23 May, with a total of 44 matches to be played. The tournament will be held on a single league basis in the opening round.
