Farhan made his PSL debut in 2017 for Islamabad United. That season, he got the opportunity to play six matches, scoring 91 runs in five innings with a highest score of 44. During PSL 2017, he hit seven fours and four sixes. In 2018, he was again picked by Islamabad United, where he featured in three innings, scoring 49 runs with a highest of 30.
