Wasim Akram Appointed Brand Ambassador of PSL
Former Pakistan captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Pakistan Super League.
The announcement was made by Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who said Wasim Akram’s association with PSL will further strengthen the league’s global image. He added that Akram’s experience, stature and deep connection with Pakistan cricket make him the ideal face of the league.
Wasim Akram has been associated with PSL since its early years in different roles and remains one of the most respected figures in world cricket. As brand ambassador, he will play a key role in promoting PSL locally and internationally, especially as the league moves into a new phase with expansion and global outreach.
PCB officials believe Akram’s presence will help attract international audiences, overseas players and investors, while also inspiring young cricketers across Pakistan.
PSL is currently preparing for its next season, with major developments including new teams, international road shows and expanded commercial plans.
