PSL 11- List of All foreign Players available for Retention
The list of overseas players who are currently available for PSL retentions has been shared, and several franchises have strong foreign options to consider. These players are not registered in the IPL auction, which makes them available for PSL retention.
List of all foreign Players available for Retention
| Franchise | Foreign Players |
|---|---|
| Lahore Qalandars | Sikandar Raza, Sam Billings, David Wiese |
| Karachi Kings | David Warner, Mohammad Nabi, James Vince |
| Peshawar Zalmi | Tom Kohler Cadmore, Najib, Max Bryant |
| Islamabad United | Goose, Dawson |
| Multan Sultans | Willey, Charles, Moti |
| Quetta Gladiators | Rossouw, Chapman |
These players are not part of the IPL auction list, which means franchises can retain them for PSL without any conflict.
Following the IPL auction on 16 December, additional overseas players may also become available if they remain unsold. Big names like Daryl Mitchell, Steve Smith, and Finn Allen could appear on the list if they remain unsold.
PSL 11 Retention Rules
There are discussions that franchises may be allowed to retain four players instead of the usual three or five.
If four retentions are approved, every franchise will have the option to keep one foreign player as part of its retention list.
The final update on PSL retentions will be announced on 6 January. This will happen after franchise ownership processes are completed and the two new teams are finalised. Retentions will then be confirmed during the early days of January.
