PSL 11 to Feature Two New Teams, Confirms PCB
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is actively considering a proposal to expand the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by introducing two new franchises for the upcoming season.
PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer confirmed that discussions are underway to include the new teams in PSL 11, marking a major development in the league’s growth.
According to Naseer, the tender process for the sale of new franchises will commence in November, and several interested parties have already expressed their willingness to invest.
He also revealed that two new venues, Peshawar and Faisalabad, are being added to the league’s host cities. With this inclusion, PSL matches will now be staged across six cities nationwide, further broadening the tournament’s reach and fan engagement.
