PSL 10: Army and Rangers deployed for Players Security
The Pakistan Super League Season 10 is about to begin, and the Punjab Government has assured 100% security for all players from every cricket franchise participating in the tournament. This announcement has brought relief and satisfaction to players and officials alike.

Now, Pakistan Army and Rangers will be actively involved in guarding the players, along with local police. An extra layer of security has been added this year, especially because matches will be held across multiple cities, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
In each of these cities, players will receive full security from hotel to stadium and back. Inside the stadiums as well, all players will be protected with proper security arrangements.

Given the recent security concerns in Punjab, which are being linked to foreign conspiracies, the Government of Pakistan and the Punjab administration are taking every step to ensure that no threat or issue arises during PSL 10.
They have officially requested the Federal Ministry and Interior Ministry to deploy local police as an additional layer of security for the players. The goal is clear, every player, whether local or international, must feel completely safe during their time in Pakistan.
The tournament will kick off on April 11 and the PSL Final will be played on the May 18, and until then, the Pakistan Army, Rangers, and police will be on full duty to ensure top-level protection for all involved.
