PSL 11 – PCB to Host PSL Matches in 6 Cities
PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer has confirmed that the upcoming PSL 11 will be staged across six cities, marking the widest geographical expansion in the tournament’s history.
Speaking to the media, Salman Naseer revealed that the process for selling two new franchises will be completed by November, as the PCB prepares to finalize the league’s expansion plan.
“The desire is there, and we are very seriously considering holding matches at six venues this time. Insha’Allah, HBL PSL 11 will take place across six venues,” said Naseer.
He further added that the tender process for the new franchises will officially commence in November and that several parties have already shown strong interest.
“There is a lot of interest, and we are very keen to explore that interest. It seems there will be strong competition this time, which is really exciting,” he remarked.
The expansion is expected to bring PSL action to new venues, offering fans across Pakistan a broader and more engaging cricketing experience in the upcoming season.
