PSL 11 – Which PSL Team Is the Most Expensive?
Pakistan Super League franchise valuations have been revised after ten years and the new yearly fees for the five existing teams have been confirmed. The big question now is what happens to Multan Sultans and how much will the two new PSL 11 teams cost.
PSL Team Prices
| Team | New Annual Fee (Crore PKR) | Increase vs Old Deal (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Lahore Qalandars | 67 | 55% |
| Karachi Kings | 64 | 43% |
| Peshawar Zalmi | 49 | 80% |
| Islamabad United | 48 | 87% |
| Quetta Gladiators | 34 | 80% |
In 2015, PCB signed a ten year contract with the first five franchises. After two years Multan Sultans joined as the sixth team. The agreement officially ended in December 2025. During the first ten seasons there was no increase in fee, but after re valuation the franchise prices have risen sharply.
Lahore Qalandars have become the most expensive franchise of PSL. According to PCB valuation, Lahore Qalandars will now pay 67 crore rupees per year. Karachi Kings will pay 64 crore. Peshawar Zalmi will pay 49 crore. Islamabad United will pay 48 crore. Quetta Gladiators will pay 34 crore yearly.
All five franchises have accepted the renewal offer. Islamabad United received the highest percentage increase at 87 percent. Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi increased by 80 percent. Lahore Qalandars increased by 55 percent and Karachi Kings by 43 percent. These agreements are valid until PSL 20 and new evaluations will take place after that.
Multan Sultans remain unresolved. PCB has not issued a new contract to the franchise due to disputes. It now appears likely that new ownership could replace Ali Tareen before PSL 11. Tension increased after Ali Tareen tore a legal notice and warned to take PCB to court. Negotiations are still ongoing but there are strong signs that PCB wants a change of ownership.
